Job Description
Job Requirements
- Full professional fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written)
- Experience in legal, immigration, or court interpretation/translation
- Knowledge of immigration and legal terminology preferred
- Professional interpreter/translator certification a plus
- Must reside in Colorado
- Secure home office setup for remote assignments (print/scan/mail capability)
- Full oral and written fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience providing interpretation and translation
- Knowledge of legal and immigration terminology in both languages or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn the terminology
- Professional certification preferred but not required
- Independent contractor must be located in the state of Colorado
- Confidential computer set-up and ability to print, scan, and mail or deliver documents required for remote work
- Opportunity for remote or on-site work, with a preference for on-site spoken language interpretation
- Compensation
- Pay rate: $41/hour
- As-needed hours (0-20 weekly)

- This position is an independent contractor role. The independent contractor is not an employee of Catholic Charities of Central Colorado. The independent contractor is responsible for managing their own schedule, taxes, and business obligations in accordance with applicable laws. The contractor may provide services to other clients and retains control over the manner and means of performing interpretation and translation services.
