Job Description

As Senior Manager, Search Innovation, you will lead Begin’s organic search and discovery strategy across traditional search and emerging AI-driven surfaces. You will build and scale a durable, content-led growth engine that drives high-intent parent acquisition and supports the launch and growth of our new parent product. Lead Organic Search Strategy Own and execute a holistic SEO and AEO strategy aligned with Begin’s business goals, including support the launch of our new parent product in development. Balance strong technical and foundational SEO with bold, content-led growth initiatives. Drive Content Strategy & Creation Own the end-to-end content growth engine for Begin’s content site, including opportunity sizing, keyword and topic modeling, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional execution. Build scalable workflows for content production in partnership with Marketing, Learning team, other potential subject-matter experts. Develop a content ecosystem that supports both traditional search and AI-powered discovery. Lead AI-Driven Search Growth Innovation Identify and operationalize AI-powered tools to improve speed, quality, and scalability across research, content, and search acquisition workflows. Monitor shifts in search behavior driven by LLMs, generative answer engines, and evolving discovery platforms — and proactively adapt our growth strategy to capture new opportunity. Own Search & Content Opportunity Modeling Conduct deep research to understand what families are searching for, where competitors are winning, and where we can add distinctive value. Partner Cross-Functionally Work closely with product, engineering, design, and marketing to embed SEO-first thinking into product development, site architecture, and go-to-market plans. Influence roadmaps, not just optimize after the fact. Own Performance & Results Own daily and weekly performance reporting, tracking rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics — and proactively surface insights, risks, and optimization opportunities to stakeholders. Clearly articulate what’s working, what’s not, and where the next opportunities lie—you own the outcomes. Be the Search Thought Leader Stay deeply current on algorithm updates, industry shifts, and the evolving search and discovery landscape. Educate and mentor teams across Begin, championing organic discovery as a critical, durable growth lever.

Job Requirements

  • 6 to 9 years of hands on SEO experience with a track record of driving organic growth
  • Demonstrated success across both content strategy and technical SEO initiatives
  • Deep expertise in core SEO tools including Google Search Console, AHRefs, Semrush, and similar platforms
  • Experience experimenting with AI powered search workflows, answer engine optimization, and emerging discovery surfaces
  • Strong content strategy skills including keyword modeling, opportunity sizing, topic clustering, and authority building
  • Solid technical SEO foundation with understanding of site architecture, UX, and search indexing best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect search performance to engagement and conversion metrics
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working cross functionally with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams
  • Have built and scaled organic search programs that drive meaningful business impact
  • Are equally strong in content led growth and technical SEO foundations
  • Have hands on experience turning search opportunity into measurable adoption and conversion
  • Think beyond traditional SEO and understand how AI and emerging discovery platforms are reshaping how people find information
  • Are comfortable influencing product, engineering, and content roadmaps rather than optimizing after launch
  • Have built scalable content systems, not just individual articles
  • Use data fluently and can translate performance insights into decisive action

Benefits

  • Salary MIN: $110,000 MAX: $125,000
