Job Description
• Own end-to-end design for complex product initiatives, simplifying highly technical workflows into intuitive, scalable experiences while partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering from discovery through release.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and reusable UX patterns, ensuring accessibility, usability, and consistency across product surfaces.
• Directly manage a small team of UX designers, conduct weekly 1:1s and performance reviews, provide structured design critique and hands-on coaching, and support hiring and onboarding as the team grows.
• Manage designer workload, capacity planning, and prioritization across initiatives while maintaining strong UX Jira hygiene, ticket quality, status tracking, and cross-functional alignment within engineering workflows.
• Strengthen collaboration with Product and Engineering leadership, integrate UX early in roadmap definition and discovery, champion research rigor, and drive workflow simplification to reduce unnecessary product complexity.
• Support documentation, governance, and reusable patterns, help create frameworks engineering teams can confidently build from, and increase design leverage through systems, standards, and clarity to support long-term platform scalability.
• Work happens across many time-zones - occasional duties outside standard working hours may be required.
