Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Up Market Healthcare is responsible for leading and managing Business Development Officers (BDOs) focused on the Up Market segment, outside the bank’s footprint and dotted line responsibility for specialized RMs in Footprint. This role serves as a strategic leader, subject matter expert, and sales driver for the Up Market healthcare banking initiatives, ensuring alignment with national goals and performance metrics. Lead and manage BDOs within the Up Market Healthcare vertical. Develop and execute business development and COI (Centers of Influence) strategies across markets. Own and drive the go-to-market strategy for Up Market Healthcare. Act as the subject matter expert for Specialized Relationship Managers in Up Market banking. Deliver hands-on sales management, including regular client and COI appointments. Oversee performance management, hiring, and termination of BDOs. Collaborate with national accounts to identify and develop large-scale opportunities. Ensure achievement of PBR (Production-Based Revenue) metrics and other performance indicators. Responsible for partnership with Consumer and Regional Banking (CRB) leadership nationwide to execute on Specialty Banking Up Market Healthcare strategy throughout all channels including Branches, Business Banking, Private Bank, HFA, etc. Provide education around COIs in Up Market Healthcare to Business Bankers and how to educate on our value proposition in the healthcare practice sector. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in Practice Finance, Business Banking, and/or team management.
  • Proven experience leading and coaching financial sales teams.
  • Background in Business Banking or Practice Finance, including credit experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial documentation, including IRS forms and personal financial statements.
  • Ability to perform and communicate cash flow analysis effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
