Job Description

This is an internship opportunity to work in the corporate FP&A team. This internship offers an opportunity to support the corporate finance team in various financial analysis and modeling tasks. The finance intern will: Create financial models Capture historical trends Present financial data metrics to understand variances and spend patterns Identify key performance indicators Communicate and collaborate with the broader finance team and other departments

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS or MBA/MS
  • A major in finance/accounting is desired
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Observational and listening skills
  • Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organizational skills
  • Ability to listen effectively, respect others’ perspectives and contributions, and offer and accept constructive feedback
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) and web proficiency
  • Ability to clear the required background check
  • Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Accounting/Bookkeeping is a plus
  • Experience with Financial Modeling and data visualization is a plus
  • Work Environment
  • This position is virtual and open to residents of the 50 states, D.C.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market, and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. We anticipate the salary range to be $22 an hour. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors, including geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
