Job Description

The Senior Account Manager, Final Mile continuously enhances and builds the client business relationship by providing overall account support at the strategic and day-to-day level. He or she is responsible for contributing to Client Services achieving their annual goals related to revenue, customer satisfaction and successful delivery of Final Mile services. Responsible for oversight and management of multiple Final Mile accounts with annualized revenue greater than $5 million in total. Ability to lead Account Managers and related staff to ensure that all aspects of the accounts are proactively serviced and maintained. Efficiently service the needs of assigned client base by building excellent working relationships at all levels. Support the implementation, growth, and ongoing maintenance of assigned accounts, including virtual and in-person business reviews. Act as a subject matter expert on client-specific operations, procedures, and practices. Identify new sales opportunities and revenue growth potential within existing accounts. Drive the development and execution of specific strategic client programs to enhance satisfaction and create value for clients. Perform analysis to review revenue and margin growth opportunities and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement. Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years related industry experience.
  • Ability to create reports, business correspondence and procedures to effectively communicate and present information.
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with an array of variables in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Successfully manage a team of employees.
  • Driven by a constant focus of impeccable customer satisfaction.
  • General knowledge of system integrations and EDI transaction sets.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and be a strong self-starter.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Up to 10% travel.
  • Salary: up to $69,150 /year base salary + Bonus Eligibility.
  • This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
