Job Description

• Manage all RFQ and RFP opportunities within assigned territory from receipt through submission • Review and interpret complex bid documents, drawings, technical specifications, and contractual requirements • Ensure all required bid documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with customer requirements • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Pricing, Risk Assessment, and Bids & Proposals teams to develop competitive, technically sound proposals • Review pricing sheets and validate scope, margins, and commercial terms prior to submission • Write and/or review customer-facing cover letters and supporting documentation • Manage multiple concurrent bid opportunities while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines • Serve as the primary customer interface during the bid phase, including clarification meetings and addendum responses • Develop and maintain strong relationships with airports, airlines, and general contractors within the territory • Identify appropriate upsell opportunities related to technology enhancements, system upgrades, and product options • Represent Oshkosh at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events • Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of JetAire and Jetpower product lines, including performance characteristics and configuration options • Maintain competitive intelligence and understand market positioning within the assigned region • Support forecasting and sales planning activities • Collaborate in cross-functional initiatives related to product development and market strategy

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with five (5) or more years of sales experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience reviewing and responding to RFQs and RFPs
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet firm deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30%
