Job Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years of experience in lieu of degree, 7 years with an AS.
- Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Product ownership, systems engineering, or aviation program management experience.
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Strong background in aviation systems, infrastructure, or communications technologies.
- Familiarity with the unique aviation challenges (remote operations, extreme weather, limited infrastructure).
- Experience in federal IT or aviation compliance standards (NIST RMF, FISMA, SMS).
- Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience.
- Experience with FAA acquisition processes, AMS standards, and safety frameworks.
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Aviation Management, or Business Administration.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM, or PMP.
- Experience supporting FAA NextGen or Alaska aviation modernization initiatives.
- Background in communications, surveillance, or navigation systems relevant to Alaska operations.
- Familiarity with international aviation standards (ICAO, ITU-T).
- Experience working directly with regional operators, airports, or state aviation authorities.
