Job Description

The Director of Social Media & Content Strategy is a senior role responsible for defining and executing the brand’s social media vision. This individual will oversee the development of platform-specific strategies, lead a team of social media representatives and collaborate cross-functionally with our Creative Director to ensure social media is integrated into broader marketing efforts. This role reports into our VP of Growth. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Comfrt’s marketing and business objectives. Establish clear KPIs to measure success across platforms, including engagement, reach, traffic, and revenue impact. Identify opportunities to expand the brand’s presence on emerging platforms or new features on existing channels. Foster an innovative and experimental culture within the team to test new formats, trends, and campaigns. Build and lead a high-performing social media and content team, providing mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities. Oversee workload distribution, team priorities, and performance reviews. Work closely with the Creative Director to align content development with strategic goals. Drive excellence across TikTok, Meta (Instagram, Facebook), Snap, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms. Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and algorithm updates to maintain a competitive edge. Analyze competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation. Lead the setup and integration of new platforms to optimize workflow and performance. Oversee the ideation, planning, and execution of cross-platform campaigns that amplify brand messaging and drive measurable organic results. Collaborate with performance marketing, email/SMS, and e-commerce teams to align organic social efforts with paid initiatives and revenue-driving goals. Lead influencer and creator partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand values and maximizing ROI. Lead review generation strategy across target review sites and social platforms. Streamline processes across social media monitoring internally ensuring the teams follow Macros/ SLA’s. Leverage our tech ecosystem for full integration with Sproutsocial and Gorgias. Measure performance based on agreed KPIs that support business goals. Produce weekly and monthly reports that showcase results, key learnings, and recommendations. Act as the primary liaison between the social media team and CX ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing strategy. Partner with product, PR, acquisition, retention, and creative teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across all customer touchpoints.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Proven experience in leading and scaling social media teams within a high-growth eCommerce or DTC brand.
  • Track record of driving measurable growth through organic social media initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Meta, Snap, Pinterest and emerging platforms.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar social media budgets is a plus.
