Job Description
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources, payroll, benefits administration, or leave management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated experience using Excel, such as creating formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience navigating and entering data within HRIS systems.
- Basic knowledge of federal and state employment law, including FMLA, ADA, and wage and hour fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Able to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred (or willingness to pursue certification as part of professional development).
- Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Prolonged periods sitting, typing, and working at a computer.
- Ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, including written, verbal, and listening comprehension.
- Occasional travel or on-site work may be required for meetings, collaboration, or company events.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20lbs.
