Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement or category management, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present complex data.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and category strategy execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and business insight with a track record of delivering measurable cost savings or operational improvements.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel nationally and internationally (up to 15%).
