Job Description
Job Requirements
- 7+ years building backend systems in production with deep Python expertise.
- Prior startup experience required — you know how to build in fast-moving environments and recognize when to favor "speed to market" vs. "architectural perfection."
- Proven architectural judgment — you’ve handled APIs, distributed transactional systems, and cloud-native infrastructure (GCP preferred).
- Security-minded — you have experience handling sensitive data (PII, payments, or healthcare-adjacent).
- A builder's mindset — you write code that others can read six months later and you aren't afraid to refactor legacy paths into durable services.
- High ownership, Team mentality — you understand what you ship, you value "strong opinions, loosely held," and you thrive in a collaborative team environment.
