About the Role The Strategy Consultant will be a member of our North America consulting team, working in conjunction with peers both within the US, as well as with our team of business development executives worldwide. The primary function will be to manage and execute upon single-client consulting projects, while ensuring long-term satisfaction, value realization and an ongoing client relationship. The candidate will be a self-starter, who is an expert in the pulp and paper industry, ideally having worked in a paper mill with linerboard, containerboard, carton board, or tissue experience. The candidate should be able to work independently, and have a strong blend of quantitative and qualitative skills and will be expected to explain results to senior level executives. What You'll Do Complete customized resource study projects, including determining the project scope, estimating the costs and timeframes for completing studies, identifying the appropriate data and analysis required to meet the objectives of the study, perform statistical analysis of the data, and write client-ready reports detailing project results. Support for business development activities and consulting sales presentations Identify and drive development of tools to streamline and advance the business Inspire clients and provide industry thought leadership and insight Internal projects – product improvements, marketing support, etc. Qualifications Flexibility to travel - travel requirements are light. Job Requirements

  • 15+ years relevant work experience with proven track record of success, at least 3 years in a management consulting, strategy, or senior market intelligence role
  • Strong pulp and paper industry experience. Linerboard/corrugated box expertise required. Tissue or Specialties expertise is nice to have.
  • Proven ability to deliver on a schedule, sometimes under time pressure
  • Ability to manage project teams and work cross-functionally within the organization
  • Solid analytical skills including the ability to envision and build complex Excel models
  • Strong slide building and presentation skills; comfort with public speaking
