Job Description

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS) to support containerized applications, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. • Leverage IaC tools such as Terraform, Helm, Flux(GitOps), and Git source control to manage and deploy Azure resources and Kubernetes configurations. • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications, automating build, testing, and deployment to improve efficiency and reduce errors. • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks ensuring consistent operations and improved workflows. • Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions in Kubernetes and Azure environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor to ensure system reliability and performance. • Integrate security best practices within Azure and Kubernetes environments, including role-based access control (RBAC) and network policies. • Work closely with Software Engineers, Security Specialists, QA, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. • Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical resources to ensure continuity and resiliency.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience with Microsoft Azure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience in Kubernetes, specifically with AKS, Flux, Helm, Terraform, and container management best practices.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks and manage resources effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure resources and DevOps tools for efficient deployment and management.
  • Basic NoSQL database knowledge (Mongo preferred) for data retrieval and troubleshooting, foundational networking skills (e.g., understanding of DNS, VPNs, load balancing, SSL/TLS, reverse proxies), and security best practices in a cloud environment.
