Job Description

About Resi

Resi is the marketing operating system for multifamily. Our platform centralizes websites, content, data, and integrations into a single connected ecosystem that powers the entire renter journey. From high-performing websites and digital marketing to real-time data connections and analytics, Resi helps property operators modernize their marketing and turn insights into measurable growth.

The Role

As a Senior Web Designer at Resi, you’ll design and build apartment websites while helping ensure consistent quality across our website portfolio. You’ll work within our WordPress (YooTheme) and Resi App systems, applying strong design judgment inside established frameworks to create polished, production-ready sites.

Beyond your own projects, you’ll help elevate how our websites are built across projects — guiding independent contractors, partnering with CX, supporting other designers, leading site reviews, and helping to refine workflows that help our projects scale smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Design & Build

  • Design and launch apartment and property management websites using our WordPress theme and builder (YooTheme) and the Resi App
  • Execute both theme-based rollouts, enterprise theme sites, and occasional custom builds
  • Translate brand inputs into clean, consistent, production-ready websites
  • Apply strong UI and UX judgement within established patterns and components

Design Quality & Reviews

  • Lead internal design reviews across assigned projects
  • Ensure layouts, hierarchy, responsiveness, and accessibility meet Resi standards
  • Provide actionable feedback to designers and partners
  • Help confirm sites are design-ready for launch

Contractor & Production Management

  • Manage independent contractors across multiple website projects
  • Assign work, provide direction, and review deliverables to ensure alignment and progress
  • Keep projects moving through clear feedback and coordination
  • Help refine contractor instructions, templates, and playbooks over time

Design Systems & Scalability

  • Identify recurring UX or component gaps across sites
  • Suggest improvements to components, patterns, and reusable approaches
  • Strengthen consistency across high-volume theme implementations
  • Improve production efficiency through thoughtful layout and pattern decisions

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with designers, CX, and project stakeholders to support delivery
  • Share insights from reviews that inform system and process improvements

This Role Is a Great Fit If You…

  • Enjoy working within design systems and themes at scale
  • Take pride in raising quality across multiple projects
  • Naturally spot inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Like guiding work toward stronger standards
  • Balance efficiency with thoughtful design decisions
  • Prefer structured environments over open-ended exploration
  • Find satisfaction in building systems that scale and last

What You Bring

  • 5+ years designing and building websites
  • Strong UI design fundamentals (hierarchy, spacing, consistency, responsiveness)
  • Experience with WordPress visual builders (YooTheme or similar preferred)
  • Ability to maintain quality across templated or component-based work
  • Experience reviewing or guiding other designers’ work
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and modern web standards
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Clear communication and feedback skills in a remote environment
  • Ability to follow and refine established processes
  • Portfolio demonstrating web design and production work

Bonus: experience in multifamily or real estate

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently strong design quality across assigned sites
  • Rollout and production work aligns with Resi standards
  • Internal reviews are clear, efficient, and trusted
  • Consistent quality of theme implementations
  • Assist in removing friction points from design workflows

  • Discretionary Time Off: Time off looks different for everyone. Recharge, be present, and do your best work for what makes sense for you.
  • Company Holidays: We observe a core set of company holidays while giving you flexibility to take time off for personal, cultural, or religious observances that matter to you.

  • Parental Leave: We provide paid parental leave to support growing families, including birthing, non-birthing, and adoptive parents.

  • 401(k) Retirement Plan: We offer a matched retirement savings plan to help you invest in your future and build long-term financial security.
  • Project H.E.A.R.T.: Every team member is empowered to build meaningful, human connections with our customers through thoughtful moments that matter.
  • Resi Retreat: Once a year, the entire team comes together in person to connect, align, and focus on the future of Resi.

Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 base salary, depending on experience and role alignment.
