Role Description

CrowdStrike is looking for an Information Security Intern to join our Cybersecurity Team. In this role, you will work closely with leadership, sponsors, stakeholders, other project owners, and delivery teams to improve processes and drive desired business value. The intern will report to a Technical Project Manager and will interact with and support all Cyber teams.

  • Develop a comprehensive three-year strategic workforce planning document with headcount budget projections, aligned to the skills that we are looking for
  • Support the creation of a succession plan for the Cybersecurity management layer
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop the FalCON From the Inside Lounge initiative
  • Work with Senior Leadership Team and Managers to align on budget planning and allocation
  • Assist with headcount planning and hiring tasks for the Cybersecurity Team
  • Improve processes to ensure strategic resilience and scalability of the Office of the CISO
  • Assist in projects to ensure the overall portfolio is coordinated and delivered according to plan and scope
  • Work cross-functionally with key business units and operation team stakeholders to prioritize, coordinate and execute system and process improvements
  • Support project sponsors, owners and key stakeholders to understand the objectives and set the priorities of a project and assist in the development and presentation of proposals for approval
  • Learn how to create project plans appropriate to the size, scope and resource required
  • Assist in defining and tracking project timelines, dependencies, and scope
  • Learn about processes across multiple functional groups involving a variety of technologies
  • Work creatively and analytically to problem-solve project roadblocks
  • Keep stakeholders and project team members informed of status and issues utilizing clear, consistent and timely communications
  • Participate in establishing best Project Management practices (templates, policies, tools and in the development of business partnerships)
  • Support budget forecasting activities and coordinate with Procurement

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 2 years at a 4-year university by the start of the internship, working towards an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Communications or Business, MIS or any appropriate field of study and graduating between December 2026 to August 2027
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hardworking team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including experience meeting with and presenting information
  • Must work effectively and professionally with cross-functional groups across divisions
  • Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and have the ability to make logical, timely decisions

Requirements

  • Experience working in program/project management (bonus points)
  • Knowledge in/exposure to cyber security domain a plus
  • Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, WorkBoard, Asana
  • Interest in strategic planning and workforce development
