Job Description
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Connect:Direct in enterprise or government environments.
- Proven expertise supporting Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience with secure file transfer protocols, scheduling, automation, and batch processing.
- Solid troubleshooting skills across application, OS, and network layers.
- Experience working in regulated or highly controlled environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting federal government or large public-sector clients.
- Familiarity with broader Managed File Transfer (MFT) or B2B integration ecosystems.
- Knowledge of scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or similar) for automation and operational support.
- Experience supporting high-availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency architectures.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a larger program team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
