Job Description
• Screen orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides
• Ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner
• Direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
• Meet specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team
• Perform other pharmacy functions as required
Job Requirements
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law
- Minimum of 6 months related pharmacy technician experience
- Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Secure and private room free from noise and distractions with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area
- Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment
- Data Entry experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs.
