Job Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Infrastructure Engineering team • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtual servers and virtual desktops • Establish and maintain KPIs and metrics to assess infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and service delivery • Develop and enforce best practices for configuring, installing, supporting, and maintaining critical software systems • Manage capacity planning, monitoring, and system expansion to ensure scalability and reliability • Ensure all OS, and firmware installations and upgrades follow established processes and quality standards • Oversee monitoring and alerting frameworks • Implement and maintain security controls, patching standards, and compliance practices • Collaborate with the security team to enhance infrastructure security • Partner with engineering and support leaders to resolve system-wide issues • Ensure IT projects and new build requests are completed on time • Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation • Communicate complex infrastructure concepts to senior leadership • Promote a culture of operational excellence, timely execution, attention to detail, and continuous refinement of infrastructure systems and processes • Act as an escalation for on call personnel.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience supporting enterprise-scale environments
  • 2+ years of experience managing and leading technical teams, including hiring, performance management, and personnel development
  • Demonstrated experience with data center operations, server platforms, and cloud infrastructure
  • Proven expertise in server management, including patching, configuration baselines, release management, and vulnerability remediation
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
  • Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes such as incident, change, problem, and configuration management
  • Experience implementing and managing security controls, including firewalls, access management, and security patching
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical teams and senior leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SHRM People Manager Qualification (PMQ) certification or completion of the SHRM PMQ within the first 90 days of the position.
