Job Description
• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs to support our platform's functionality and scalability.
• Take full ownership of your projects, from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Leverage your expertise in Python, SQL, and LLMs to build efficient, high-quality code that meets business objectives.
• Contribute to the architecture and optimisation of our backend infrastructure hosted on AWS.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and automated code deployment.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and find creative solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our backend systems.
Job Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with the FastAPI framework for building APIs
- Proficiency in using Pydantic for data validation and settings management
- Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker
- Familiarity with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL (SQLAlchemy)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically Redis
- Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts.
