Role Description
As the Design Intern at BetterHelp, you’ll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy.
- Support the development of paid social, display, email, and web creative
- Adapt and resize creative across multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), ensuring each asset feels native to its environment
- Assist in evolving evergreen and campaign-based marketing assets
- Assist with organic social content, including static posts and carousels
- Contribute to concept development and creative brainstorming
- Prepare production-ready files and resize/adapt creative across formats
- Help maintain brand consistency across channels
- Participate in creative reviews and team critiques
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
- Strong design fundamentals (typography, layout, hierarchy, color)
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio showcasing digital work (social, web, email, campaign concepts, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
- Comfortable adapting a single idea into many versions across different platforms and formats
- Interest in wellness, mental health, and mission-driven brands
Requirements
- Bonus: Have experience with motion design or light animation
- Understand performance marketing or growth creative
- Are curious about how design impacts conversion and engagement
