- Proven experience leading FinOps initiatives in a cloud-native environment
- Strong understanding of cloud cost models (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Cost allocation strategies
- Unit economics for engineering services
- Budgeting and forecasting processes
- Experience partnering with Finance and executive leadership
- Experience managing technical teams
- Strong understanding of engineering operations and service health metrics
- Familiarity with SQL, data pipelines, and BI tooling (Superset, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to translate complex technical and financial data into clear narratives
- Structured thinker with strong prioritization skills
- Able to influence engineering leaders without direct authority
- Comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders
