• Responsible for the mechanical engineering design work on assigned projects • Serve as lead engineer on all size projects maintaining responsibility for deliverable development • Coordination with the mechanical piping design team to direct completion of engineering drawings • Multi-discipline collaboration on the development of equipment general arrangements, P&ID’s, isometrics, asset and tie-in lists, orthographic, etc. • Provides technical expertise for risk assessments, due diligence and other studies presenting complex technical solutions to clients. • Generate applicable mechanical engineering deliverables to support all phases of scope development – Feasibility through Detail Design • Develop construction and equipment specifications and material requisitions • Home office support of projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning • Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others • Participate in project and client meetings • Interact with vendors, regulatory agencies and contractors • Assist with internal and external presentations • Occasional travel to client and/or project sites
