Job Description

• Lead and perform structural design and analysis for multiple data center buildings, including hyperscale and colocation type facilities. • Develop design documentation for tilt-up concrete panels, precast structures, steel framing systems, and deep and shallow foundations. • Coordinate design deliverables with architectural, civil, MEP, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and client standards. • Oversee preparation of construction documents, specifications, and calculations, ensuring quality, code compliance, and technical excellence. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. • Engage with clients, contractors, and review authorities to address technical queries and design clarifications. • Support business development, proposal writing, and conceptual structural design for new pursuits. • Travel as needed for project related activities such as client meetings and site visits.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Licensed U.S. Professional Engineer (PE or SE)
  • 10+ years of professional experience in building structures design and analysis
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in data center, mission critical, or large scale logistics/industrial facilities
  • Experience with BIM ACC (Revit), ETABS, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, Safe, etc.
  • Experience with precast concrete systems, steel design, seismic design, and foundation systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with low embodied carbon materials and sustainable structural design approaches.
  • Preferred Requirements: 5+ years of experience with data center facilities
  • familiarity of data center specific design standards and structural resiliency requirements.
  • LEED, Envision, or active leader in SE 2050 implementation.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and geographically diverse teams.
  • Ability to interpret and apply national and local building codes.
