Role Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Video & Content Coordinator to transform long-form content into engaging short-form social media assets while managing day-to-day publishing and post-event content distribution. This role is ideal for someone who understands platform trends, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can execute content with both creativity and precision.
- Clip, edit, and repurpose long-form video content into short-form videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social platforms
- Ensure all videos meet platform specifications, including correct format, resolution, length, and aspect ratio
- Adapt content style and pacing to align with current platform trends and audience engagement patterns
- Upload, schedule, and publish content in alignment with the established content calendar
- Write engaging captions, hashtags, and post descriptions that reflect brand voice and drive engagement
- Coordinate timely posting to maximize reach and audience interaction
- Create branded graphics for social media, including championship photos, stat leader graphics, MVP announcements, and other post-event highlights
- Coordinate the collection, editing, and posting of post-event photos and visual content
- Maintain visual consistency across all social media assets
Qualifications
- Experience editing short-form video content for social media
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
- Graphic design experience (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media platform best practices
- Excellent written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
