Role Description

The Compliance Administrator is responsible for developing, managing and overseeing adherence to compliance standards for Direct Care Worker training and testing, and Community Service Agencies representing two unlicensed provider types. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing audit strategies including developing data collection and summaries to identify and trend compliance performance.

  • Monitoring and overseeing the managed care organizations compliance with both direct care worker training and testing and Community Service Agency credentialing standards including performing audit functions.
  • Developing and performing desk audits and approving new direct care worker training and testing programs.
  • Managing direct care worker training and testing helpdesk and technical assistance requests for users in the online testing records database, including identifying ways to improve processes and streamline user experience.
  • Leading strategic discussions and proposing/writing policy changes to update compliance standards and/or streamline processes in collaboration with SMEs across the agency, Managed Care Organizations and the provider industry.
  • Developing strategies and work products (e.g. technical assistance trainings, data reports) to support Managed Care Organizations and providers to comply with AHCCCS policy standards including execution of direct training and technical assistance activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field OR 5 plus years experience to include: 1 - 2 years experience in the provision of home and community-based services or rehabilitation services.
  • 3 years experience in audit, compliance or project management fields.

Requirements

  • Successfully pass fingerprint background check, prior employment verifications and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
  • Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training.
  • All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
