Role Description

The Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) supports the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated tests within agile product teams. This role builds foundational expertise in modern test automation practices, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines while contributing to the delivery of high‑quality software used by mental and behavioral health providers.

  • Design and maintain automated tests for functional and integration testing.
  • Contribute to framework improvements under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Execute automated and manual tests as part of sprint cycles.
  • Analyze test results and collaborate on defect resolution.
  • Document test cases, procedures, and results accurately.
  • Participate in test reviews and agile ceremonies to improve team quality.
  • Learn and apply CI/CD tools and testing integrations.

Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of experience in test automation or software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
