Role Description

  • Supports PES North America execution of Pricing related Policy Deployment and CI Roadmap strategies
  • Supports Product Management team to gather and review market level pricing and execute pricing and program enhancements
  • Supports growth strategies related to price and customer programs and executes related price updates
  • Validates pricing execution effectiveness and supports pricing discrepancy resolution, while identifying root causes for issues and recommending and implementing corrective actions with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, & Pricing teams
  • Understands the industry economics, applications, and Rexnord products/value to the customer
  • Understand and propose pricing/discounting strategies for the various industries
  • Develop and utilize 80/20 skills to support Product Management on portfolio analysis and identification of opportunities to take pricing action
  • Provides technical guidance collaborating with product management and marketing to develop pricing strategies for assigned segment(s) and realize optimum price performance
  • Executes North America (US, Canada, Mexico) business pricing strategy to Oracle ERP system in line with defined pricing structures and discounts
  • Collaborates with sales team to execute general price increases as part of the Segment Pricing Strategy
  • Collects, compiles, verifies, and analyses data from internal and external sources in order to develop recommendations for simplification of Oracle price execution
  • Researches and prepares reports using data from Oracle/CRM (Sales Force), and other computer systems
  • Consolidates information into cohesive and understandable reports or other written form for use in management decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate errors and implement process improvements
  • Utilizing statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports and summarize results for stakeholders
  • May provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced analysts
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience (Technical degree preferred)
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in a similar B2B Marketing position
  • The ideal candidate is energetic, well organized self-managed, commercially minded, flexible, team-oriented and possesses strong integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to evaluate market opportunities, distil clear messages, and develop business strategies
  • Familiarity with 80/20 methodologies preferred
  • Sense of accountability for sales and profitability
  • Excellent automation knowledge, preferable Oracle and key Excel user
  • Excellent analytical insight and good with financial Analysis & numbers
  • Firm personality; communicative strong in writing and verbal
  • Entrepreneurial and practical attitude
  • Self-starter and proactive independent worker, but also able to work in a participative team environment
  • Objective critical thinking capabilities
  • Effective negotiator
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills
