Job Description
• Lead a team of Sales Representatives within the financial services space: managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring and career development.
• Develop and execute the sales strategy by leveraging best practice frameworks, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Clearly communicate the sales strategy, goals, sales targets and expectations.
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop local, regional and/or divisional marketing content to drive brand awareness to support sales strategy.
• Utilize a variety of accountability tools to assess/evaluate and take corrective action when needed towards the success of the sales strategy and the execution predetermined expectations of the sales team.
• Actively recruit, retain and develop talent and hold employees accountable for results.
• Lead change, manage conflict and foster collaboration.
• Facilitate work and problem resolution between work groups and may lead cross functional/inter-departmental projects and/or process improvement efforts.
• Develop and modify policies and processes that impact team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-7 years of directly related experience in the financial services industry
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Comfortable with virtual presentations, embraces technology and embraces change
- Demonstrated success in delivering results through others
- Proven track record in creating sales forecasts, identifying new areas of growth, and accurately analyzing sales performance data
- High level of business acumen, strategic agility, ability to develop others, and influence change
- Drive and models client loyalty, expectations, feedback, and ensures commitments are met
- Demonstrated success establishing, leading and maintaining effective working relationships
