Job Description
• Guide innovative teams to modernize solutions, drive business outcomes, and shape technology vision
• Lead and mentor a team of architects, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
• Translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions
• Integrate hardware, software, and network interfaces to form cohesive systems
• Present architectural strategies and solution designs to senior leadership
• Drive strategic negotiations across technology and application owners
• Oversee the governance of architecture standards and best practices
• Recommend new products and approaches to evolve Humana's technical infrastructure
• Provide leadership in developing the organization's technical staff
• Support the identification and mitigation of architecture drift
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8 or more years of progressive technical experience in enterprise architecture, application development, or engineering roles
- 5 or more years of management experience, including direct team leadership and mentoring responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems
- Deep understanding of solution architecture, technology modernization, cloud migration, and architecture governance frameworks
- Proven executive presence with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated success working across technology domains to deliver compliant, scalable solutions
- Passion for advancing consumer experiences and driving organizational excellence through technology innovation
