Role Description
- Implement new payroll projects including payroll system conversion for clients
- Process multiple states’ payrolls for multiple clients
- Research new regulations and reflect payrolls to comply with federal, states, counties requirements
- Examine and improve existing payroll procedures of the assigned projects
- Ensure quality of customer services
- Communicate/interact with clients, sales department, and project members in order to meet our clients’ expectations
- Manage assigned projects as a project leader and review procedures, profit, client expectations, renew agreements, train project members, etc.
- Participate in internal projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- Work from home independently
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and communicate professionally in Japanese and English
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
- Full-charge payroll experience or equivalent experiences are preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with ADP Comprehensive Services (payroll and Time & Attendance) is preferred
- Experience with multiple companies’ payroll processing is preferred
- Project management skills, prioritizing, multitasking, time management, customer service minded
- Solid understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements - preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with learning new systems and ability to respond to changes in the IT environment flexibly, not afraid of challenge
- Challenging mind and adjustable with new projects
- Work accurately in a fast-paced work environment

- Anticipated Start Date: June - July 2026
- Salary: $43,000-73,000 (Base Salary) + Profit sharing
- Classifications: Non-Exempt, Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Work schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm Eastern or Central Time
