Role Description
Cabot Corporation is seeking a Workday PATT Analyst to join the HRIS team at either of the following Cabot locations (Billerica, MA or Alpharetta, GA) or remote if elsewhere in the US within the EST time zone.
This individual performs a key role in leading the operational functions of Workday as well as continually optimizing Cabot’s HR technology solutions. This position will collaborate with cross-functional partners and management to provide expertise while supporting the business and systems strategy for absence, time tracking, and payroll in multiple countries. The successful colleague will provide execution, project management, maintenance, testing, and training in enhancements of Workday and HR Technology solutions.

- Supports the development and performance of Workday US and Canada payroll, Time Tracking and Absence.
- Partners directly with key stakeholders to gather requirements and determine design.
- Configures and maintains Workday for Time Tracking (schedules, meal rules, overtime) and Absence (accruals, time off, eligibility) and Payroll (e.g.: deductions, taxes, pay group management, and retroactive processing).
- Ensures compliance with US and Canada payroll and Time Tracking related labor laws.
- Builds and maintains custom reports and dashboards for cross functional partners.
- Analyzes data flow, processes, and configuration to recommend enhancements that will increase quality and efficiency within the Cabot digital enterprise.
- Provides troubleshooting support to employees and HR users in completing transactions.
- Offers expertise in modifying back-end configurations and supports the deployment and testing of configuration changes.
- Provides strong project management skills throughout implementation of changes while working closely with other teams to ensure backend mapping is correct.
- Offers training and support to end-users, developing documentation and user guides including videos.
- Conducts unit testing and supports UAT testing activities, ensuring testers are clear on testing expectations, scenarios, etc.; and performs WD release related testing.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Workday functional & technical questions, troubleshooting and resolving system-related problems for the related SKUs (PATT).
- Remains up to date with Workday updates and best practices, ensuring the company maximizes its investment in the platform.
- Builds custom reports and dashboards for audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or significant demonstrable experience supporting HR systems, preferably Workday.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience with Workday payroll, time, and absence modules is required from an end-user HRIS team or Workday partner background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and HRIS data management.
- Workday Certified in at least 2 of the following SKUs (Absence, Canada Payroll, US Payroll, Time Tracking, Compensation).
- Skilled at the maintenance and support of integrations is preferable.
- Knowledgeable of deployment of Workday releases and troubleshooting issues with configuration.

Job Requirements
