Job Description
Role Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated (Senior) Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to be a critical partner in driving ParentSquare’s financial performance and strategic decision-making. This role will be responsible for forecasting, financial modeling, and preparing insightful performance analysis for executive leadership. The (Senior) Manager of FP&A will play a key role in translating operational data into actionable financial insights to support the company’s continued growth.

Lead Traditional FP&A Processes:
- Own the company-wide planning and forecasting processes and perform variance analyses to drive accountability across business teams.

Act as Strategic Finance Partner:
- Serve as a finance partner to department leaders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, R&D) to manage operating expenses, develop financial models for new initiatives, and identify opportunities for efficiency and margin improvement.

Executive & Investor Reporting:
- Prepare and present insightful financial analysis and management reporting packages to articulate business performance, and support the leadership team with materials related to Investor Relations.

Drive System & Process Excellence:
- Drive continuous improvement and automation across FP&A tools and systems (e.g., ERP, planning software) to enhance forecast accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Champion of integrating AI-driven workflows and predictive analytics to enhance forecast accuracy.

Long-Term Planning & Capital Allocation:
- Develop and maintain complex, integrated financial models to support long-term strategic planning.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of prior experience in SaaS FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
- An AI-native mindset: You are proactive about using AI tools to streamline financial workflows and extract deeper insights.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with dedicated FP&A platforms / ERP systems.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (a modeling test will be part of the process).
- Extensive experience collecting, interpreting, and analyzing large, complex datasets.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, with ability to balance attention to detail with a view of the bigger strategic picture.
- A self-starter who can build on financial processes that scale.
- A proactive problem-solver mentality with ability to roll up the sleeves and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The salary range for this role will be 150,000-185,000, DOE.
