Role Description
This position will be a fully remote role.
- Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems.
- Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
- Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization.
- Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out.
- Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage.
- Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience).
- 3 to 5+ years of experience as a business analyst.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in creating user stories, use case diagrams, mockups, process flow charts for gathering requirements from customers/external stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing project management methodologies and processes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and with conducting associated ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a team player and be able to adjust to a dynamic working environment that supports a government agency.
- Ability to proactively communicate and coordinate with various internal and external project stakeholders, depending on needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.

- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
