Role Description

Legrand is seeking a collaborative and strategic Global Supply Chain Director to join the DPC Access and Control team. In this role, you will guide the end-to-end global supply chain strategy, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to customers worldwide. You will partner cross-functionally with teams in operations, manufacturing, engineering, product management, and quality to strengthen performance, improve processes, and enable sustainable growth.

  • Develop and guide global supply chain strategies that align with business goals and support long-term growth.
  • Lead planning efforts across manufacturing, production, and supply chain functions to ensure strong operational execution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize materials, labor, and equipment resources.
  • Oversee demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and customer support.
  • Support efficient and high-quality production in both in-house and contract manufacturing models.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices across all supply chain activities.
  • Strengthen supplier partnerships and manage compliance with RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and relevant regulations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop global supply chain team members, fostering an environment of inclusion, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for cost efficiency, service-level improvements, and stronger customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus).
  • Extensive experience leading global supply chain or operations functions within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience with supply chain systems, such as ERP/MRP tools.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, inclusivity, and supporting team development.
