Role Description

The Inpatient Corporate Coding Coordinator under the Supervision of the Corporate Coding Managers is responsible for:

  • Reviewing and resolving Coding Coordinator designated DNFC code holds
  • Conducting second level coding reviews
  • Resolving post coding/post billing edits
  • Handling new coder onboarding
  • Providing feedback and education to coders on correct coding assignments and workflows
  • Assisting the Coding department with coding questions, audit reviews, or inquiries from Facility/Market departments
