Role Description
The Inpatient Corporate Coding Coordinator under the Supervision of the Corporate Coding Managers is responsible for:
- Reviewing and resolving Coding Coordinator designated DNFC code holds
- Conducting second level coding reviews
- Resolving post coding/post billing edits
- Handling new coder onboarding
- Providing feedback and education to coders on correct coding assignments and workflows
- Assisting the Coding department with coding questions, audit reviews, or inquiries from Facility/Market departments
