Role Description
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing Seed’s data capabilities. You will partner closely with leaders across Product, Science, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to transform data into actionable insights that drive business growth and scientific discovery.
- Manage and mentor a growing analytics team
- Build scalable frameworks
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines
- Enable self-service analytics and empower teams to make data-informed decisions
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt data modeling best practices (e.g., star schemas, dimensional modeling)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact analytics and dbt pipelines in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong technical foundation in modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow) and analytics best practices
- Skilled in experimentation, statistical analysis, and translating data into actionable business insights
- Excellent communicator who can distill complex data concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in e-commerce, healthtech, or consumer health (bonus); passion for advancing science and human health through data
- Hands-on operator with the ability to both execute and guide others
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills and fluency in modern data platforms (dbt, Snowflake, Fivetran, Airflow)
- Experience with experimentation design, statistical analysis, and A/B testing
- Proficiency in visualization and BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or similar)
