Job Description
Role Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Engineering Associate to join our growing team. This role will support mission-driven initiatives by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions while delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically strong, and comfortable working in secure environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and reporting needs
- Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data clearly to business stakeholders
- Work within Foundry to build, manage, and optimize data pipelines (or leverage prior Foundry training experience)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
- Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to complex datasets
Qualifications
- Experience working in Foundry or completion of Foundry training with hands-on data pipeline experience
- Experience developing or maintaining interactive dashboards and data visualizations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Requirements
- Experience working in secure or government environments
- Experience supporting mission-critical or operational analytics efforts
- Familiarity with modern data architecture and cloud-based environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or data pipeline engineering
- 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis
Working Conditions
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full time position
Travel
- Less than 5%
Clearance Type
- Requires a current Secret. Employment is contingent on having or obtaining the required active security clearance or successfully passing the required background check, as well as other factors, including, but not limited to, drug screens.
