Filling open position to supports overall team programs


 

Job Summary

The Program Manager plans, executes and supports discrete programs within Benefits and Leaves to advance the overall mission. This role works directly with the Director, Benefits and Leave Administration and is an integral member of the team. Working with Benefits and Leave leaders, this position will oversee programs that will create a Benefits and Leave Administration function that is scalable and flexible by aligning, standardizing and improving processes and programs.

1. Benefits and Leave Administration Program Management
• Maintains an in-depth working knowledge of the services offered within Benefits and Leave Administration.
• Works with team members and leadership on ensuring day to day case activities are occurring within established timeframes.
• Evalates trends to leadership as appropriate.
• Develops and oversees comprehensive benefits and leave calendar of ongoing activities to ensure timeframes are met.
• With support from team, creates and maintains all SOPs and ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures. Will lead discrete compliance efforts on an ad hoc basis.
• Maintains all departmental training resources
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with Hospital/Organization HR and Centers of Excellence.
• Staffs all departmental projects/programs and maintains timelines, deliverables and communications as specified in program management section.

2. Program Management
• Coordinates and manages activities.
• Develops project plans if necessary and helps define deliverables.
• Maintains program documentation including, but not limited to: Meeting Agendas, RAIL, project/program deliverables etc.
• Facilitates meetings and/or participates in meetings focused on benefit and leave related activities
• Clearly communicates timelines, objectives, milestones and deliverables to stakeholders and oversees execution.
• Provides status updates to leadership on a regular basis.
• Escalates and resolves issues in a timely and effective manner.


 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree


Experience

  • 2-3 years Program Management Experience required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • - Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and delegate tasks, manage timelines, and drive results.
  • - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with staff at all levels.
