Role Description

HealthEdge offers a structured paid 12-week virtual internship program that will allow you to help drive meaningful and strategic project work that delivers real impact to our teams, customers, and business, while having fun along the way!

  • Support the Product team and get exposure to various departments and strategic initiatives through our Discover HealthEdge weekly series.
  • Participate in our three-day Innovation Challenge and a final internship project presentation to showcase the impact you’ve made.
  • Attend workshops focused on resume writing, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and more!

Your impact includes:

  • Learning core product management skills by helping translate user and business needs into clear product requirements and simple feature stories.
  • Supporting market and policy research related to Medicare Advantage and risk adjustment, summarizing insights that inform product direction.
  • Assisting with organizing product backlogs, documenting acceptance criteria, and helping prioritize features based on data and stakeholder input.
  • Collaborating with engineering and data teams to understand real-world product challenges and propose thoughtful, user-centered solutions.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related major
  • Experience with C, .NET, and SQL
  • Self-starter
  • Confident and accountable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Data driven

Requirements

  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS (Bonus Points)
