Role Description
This role involves supporting the HWIL Modeling and Simulation Development (HMSD) contract to develop and program eLearning training products through interactive Web-Based Training (WBT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) for government and commercial clients.
- Design, develop, and program interactive eLearning training products, including WBT and CBT.
- Collaborate with team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and customers to create engaging training solutions, integrating interactive exercises, animations, graphics, and media.
- Develop custom client-side code (JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS) for Learning Management System (LMS) deployment, adhering to SCORM and xAPI standards.
- Stay current with eLearning tools, technologies, and industry trends, delivering high-quality products that meet deadlines and project requirements.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and zero (0)+ years of experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Experience in front-end development such as in JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and XML.
- Familiarity with popular frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Preact.
- Proficiency in Learning Management System (LMS) integration and SCORM or xAPI authoring, with the ability to write clean, concise, and well-commented code.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; no clearance required prior to hire; SAIC will help to obtain.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
