Role Description
We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Compensation team. You should know your numbers, own your work, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. This role plays a key part in keeping compensation operations running smoothly and ensuring our financial processes stay tight and reliable.
- Calculate productivity pay for clinical providers (W-2 and 1099).
- Create billing contracts in Salesforce.
- Prepare monthly physician invoices.
- Coordinate and lead compensation review sessions with internal departments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices and compliance requirements.
- Handle sensitive company and provider information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines with strong organization and time-management skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field required.
- At least 2-3 years of related experience as a Senior Accountant required.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel abilities (formulas, power query, data tools).
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects independently.
- Knowledge of general and cost accounting principles.
- Understanding of and adherence to GAAP.
- Ability to correctly register for and maintain local and state payroll taxes (SIT, SUI).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with internal teams, hospitals, and vendors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, NetSuite, ADP, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasional travel for meetings and collaboration.
