Role Description

We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Compensation team. You should know your numbers, own your work, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. This role plays a key part in keeping compensation operations running smoothly and ensuring our financial processes stay tight and reliable.

  • Calculate productivity pay for clinical providers (W-2 and 1099).
  • Create billing contracts in Salesforce.
  • Prepare monthly physician invoices.
  • Coordinate and lead compensation review sessions with internal departments.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices and compliance requirements.
  • Handle sensitive company and provider information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines with strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field required.
  • At least 2-3 years of related experience as a Senior Accountant required.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel abilities (formulas, power query, data tools).
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects independently.
  • Knowledge of general and cost accounting principles.
  • Understanding of and adherence to GAAP.
  • Ability to correctly register for and maintain local and state payroll taxes (SIT, SUI).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with internal teams, hospitals, and vendors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, NetSuite, ADP, and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasional travel for meetings and collaboration.
