Role Description
This role involves ensuring our organization complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Regulatory Affairs to track and communicate changes in regulations
- Maintain a regulatory strategy aligned with business goals and timelines
- Ensure all contracts with state and county agencies, Medicaid payors, and MCOs adhere to legal and regulatory requirements
- Lead Change of Ownership (CHOW) applications and the state licensure process for new markets
- Responsible for the accuracy of all documentation in support of contracts
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and renewing agreements
- Maintain meticulous records of contracts, licensing documents, and compliance filings
- Lead the submission and tracking of new state Medicaid applications
- Maintain comprehensive P&Ps that reflect regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Manage the lifecycle of P&Ps (creation, review, approval, distribution, training, obsolescence)
- Coordinate with Compliance and Operations to ensure P&Ps are accurate and enforceable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Public Policy, or a related field (required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, licensing, or regulatory compliance in healthcare, Medicaid, or managed care (required)
- Experience with state Medicaid/Medicare applications or regulatory filings (preferred)

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and regulatory knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work with highly protective information
- Ability to use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve services
