Join VillageCare in New York City as a Full-Time Director of Risk Adjustment and take your career to the next level while making a meaningful impact in the health care industry. - Lead innovative strategies aimed at enhancing patient care
- Significantly influence risk management practices
- Coordinate internal and external resources to drive initiatives forward
- Serve as the subject matter expert for business processes and systems
- Create an annual Provider Risk Adjustment strategy aimed at improving diagnosis coding accuracy
- Assess strategic performance metrics to support business initiatives
- Oversee vendor operations related to risk adjustments
- Manage a team of risk adjustment coders, ensuring compliance with RADV and other regulatory protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years in relevant professional roles
- Strong preference for candidates with Medicare Advantage experience
- Experience in risk adjustment specific to Medicare Advantage products
- Leadership capabilities including staff and process management experience
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience

- Experience in healthcare plan - Medicare Advantage experience preferred
- Risk adjustment knowledge and expertise in Medicare Advantage products
- Capacity to multi-task at a high detail-oriented level
