Mastermind equips dealerships with a powerful combination of predictive analytics, targeted marketing, and consultative support. Our technology helps dealers proactively identify opportunities within their loyalty, service, and conquest portfolios, enabling them to increase revenue and strengthen customer relationships with confidence and efficiency.

What you will do:

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor to Mastermind’s continued growth. As an Associate Business Development Manager, you will independently drive all early‑stage sales activities within a designated rural territory—including sourcing prospects, conducting outbound engagement, scheduling and delivering virtual product demonstrations, and generating qualified opportunities across dealerships of all sizes.

This role is fully remote, with the opportunity for quarterly in‑person travel for dealership visits, onsite meetings, or internal team events.

Responsibilities:

·Exceed activity and opportunity‑generation targets by developing self‑sourced new business through outbound calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and territory‑specific research.

·Build, manage, and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline across a rural market territory.

·Conduct thorough research to identify high‑potential dealerships, organizational needs, and market trends.

·Execute compelling Mastermind product demonstrations virtually clearly articulating value, ROI, and workflow impact for dealership leaders.

·Use a consultative discovery approach to understand dealership pain points and recommend tailored solutions.

·Respond to inbound interest and collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize opportunity creation.

·Prepare pricing, proposals, and relevant supporting documentation within approved guidelines; engage leadership as needed for custom deals.

·Manage sales process steps including documentation, contract preparation, and CRM accuracy.

·Partner closely with Onboarding, Launch Specialists, and Dealer Relations teams to ensure seamless handoff and customer experience.

·Maintain accurate lead, account, and opportunity data within Salesforce.

·Stay up‑to‑date on Mastermind product enhancements and communicate their strategic value to prospects.

·Foster long‑term relationships within your territory to support future upselling potential and ongoing engagement.

·Share territory insights, customer trends, and competitive feedback with leadership.

Who you are:

·3–5 years of proven success in sales development, inside sales, outside sales, or similar roles.

·Strong research capability, outbound prospecting skills, and pipeline management.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate value in a consultative manner.

·Highly self‑motivated and comfortable operating independently in a remote environment.

·Organized, detail‑oriented, and technologically savvy.

·Experience with software/SaaS or automotive industry is a plus.

·Salesforce experience preferred.

·Demonstrated success building a territory from the ground up is highly desirable.

Expected Hours & Work Location:

This is a full‑time, remote position with. Work is typically performed Monday through Friday, all demos will be completed virtually with occasional travel for quarterly onsite meetings or dealership visits within the assigned territory.
