Role Description

We are looking for a Collections Supervisor who brings energy, empathy, and accountability to revenue cycle performance. In this role, you will lead a high-impact collections team, strengthen processes, and help ensure timely, accurate reimbursement. You will balance results with people-first leadership while supporting specialty pharmacy and infusion services that make a real difference for patients.

  • Deliver strong collections outcomes by managing an assigned book of business and meeting or exceeding performance goals.
  • Build a consistent, efficient operation by designing clear workflows, performance standards, and quality measures.
  • Develop and support a skilled team through thoughtful hiring, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development.
  • Ensure productivity, compliance, and accuracy by monitoring results, auditing performance, and addressing gaps early.
  • Improve processes by identifying issues, evaluating options, and implementing practical solutions.
  • Maintain clear, respectful communication with internal partners, payers, and vendors to resolve issues and reduce delays.
  • Keep policies and procedures current so the team has clear guidance and confidence in their work.
  • Manage multiple priorities and short deadlines while staying organized and focused on outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare billing, collections, or patient business services, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare billing rules and third-party payer requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and guide teams toward shared goals.
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with performance metrics.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting specialty pharmacy, infusion, or hospital-based revenue cycle operations.
  • Familiarity with systems such as CPR+, HCN, or CareTend.
  • Experience partnering across departments to drive operational improvements.
