Role Description
The Technical Recruiting Specialist plays a critical role in supporting corporate functions (Support Center) by leading comprehensive, full-cycle recruitment efforts. This position partners closely with leaders at all levels to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams within the People function to advance talent and workforce objectives.
- Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience.
- Responsible for ensuring fair hiring practices and enhancing recruitment processes.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies that align with goals established by Talent Acquisition leadership.
- Primarily support IT, Engineering, and Data Analytics functions, while assisting with recruitment initiatives for other corporate departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
- Work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience supporting internal business functions across multiple departments.
- 3+ years in a corporate environment, focusing on technical and senior leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and terminology (e.g., software engineering, IT infrastructure, data analytics).
Requirements
- Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills for interaction and collaboration with other departments.
- Proven experience partnering with executive level and senior leaders to align recruiting strategies with business priorities.
- Skilled at building strong relationships with hiring managers and providing consultative guidance throughout the recruitment process.
- Expertise in full cycle recruiting, including advanced sourcing, screening, structured interviewing, offer management, and employment branding.
- Experience working with ATS and HR systems (e.g., Workday) to manage requisitions, track candidates, ensure data accuracy, and support reporting needs.
- Strong understanding of technical roles, functions, and terminology across IT, Engineering, and Data Analytics.
- Ability to match candidate qualifications with technical and behavioral position requirements.
- Knowledge of labor market trends and talent availability within technical and corporate functions.
- Ability to analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline health) to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, shifting priorities, and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
- Understanding of fair hiring practices, consistent evaluation standards, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
