Job Description
• Function as a consultant between technology unit and other business units
• Ask questions and present ideas that enable business units to solve data problems with code
• Begin with a set of technical specifications to begin coding solutions to issues across the business
• Collaborate with the business to ensure solutions work as expected
• Work side-by-side with the business to implement insights
• Participate in daily standup meetings and complete projects during sprints
Job Requirements
- Understand how to query and process large data sets of 200,000 rows or more, ideally in SQL
- Functional knowledge of at least 1 programming language like Python
- Passion for problem-solving using data
- Experience with data integration from different sources into Big Data systems is preferable
- Experience quality testing and coding
- A willingness to collaborate
- Worked previously with an Agile team or understand these concepts
