Role Description
The Supervisor, Patient Accounting supervises assigned staff and manages the day-to-day billing and collections activities of the assigned area. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in strategic planning for the department
- Serving as a technical resource to team members, assisting with tasks as necessary
- Communicating effectively with supervisor, staff, patients, third party payors, and others to resolve problems and/or concerns
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 2 years Patient Finance Services Required
- 1 year Supervisory experience required
- Lab experience preferred but not required
