Role Description

This role involves gaining hands-on experience supporting the growth of Wealth Enhancement’s advisor channel by contributing directly to sales proposals, financial planning preparation, and new client onboarding.

• Learn how to effectively use MoneyGuidePro to build financial plans and to develop sales proposals
• Partner with New Client Development team to understand company brand and messaging, company service offerings, and current marketing channels
• Shadow team members to learn how to conduct follow-up calls with prospects
• With manager/team support and oversight, independently conduct follow-up calls with prospects
• Support team with onboarding new clients and case submissions using Salesforce
• Track case submissions in Salesforce, ensuring tasks are executed in a timely manner
• Enter data and upload documents into Salesforce to support new client onboarding efforts
• Sit in on advisor coaching meetings with growth consultants
• Accurately record meeting notes and share with team after each meeting
• Send follow-up emails to advisor and growth consultants with outstanding tasks or requests

Qualifications

• Preferably pursuing bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field
• Preferably students between their junior and senior years
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization
• Detail oriented, highly organized, problem solver, adaptable, and able to work autonomously

Requirements

• This is a summer internship, expected to last approximately May to August
• This is a fully remote position
• Hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour
• The entire salary grade for those classified as the Intern level is $38,700.00 to $54,200.00
